The company ranks among the European leaders in the sector in its first participation in this international benchmark standard in ESG

Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales has obtained a score of 99 out of 100 in the 2025 assessment of the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), one of the leading international standards in sustainability and ESG (environmental, social and governance) criteria.
This result, achieved in its first participation, reflects Valoriza's firm commitment to sustainability and its integration into all areas of the organisation.
The company is thus positioned among the European waste treatment companies with the best ESG performance, consolidating its leadership in the implementation of responsible and sustainable business models.
‘We are very proud to have achieved this rating in our first participation in GRESB, which shows that our commitment to ESG criteria is not a matter of rankings, but part of our DNA,’ explains Diana Alonso, Director of Sustainability and Quality at Valoriza.
What is GRESB?
GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) is an internationally recognised assessment that measures and compares the sustainability performance of companies and infrastructure around the world.
Its analysis covers aspects such as environmental and social performance, occupational safety, energy and emissions management, biodiversity protection and impact on local communities.
The results of this assessment are used by institutional and financial investors as a benchmark to identify companies committed to responsible management and the creation of long-term sustainable value.
With this achievement, Valoriza reinforces its position as a leader in the transformation towards a more sustainable and efficient model, in which the circular economy, innovation and care for the environment are integrated into its day-to-day activities.
