Valoriza to take over the waste collection service in El Burgo de Osma-Ciudad de Osma

The company has signed this new contract for the next 10 years.

El Burgo de Osma-Ciudad de Osma has entrusted Valoriza with its waste collection service, with a contract worth 301,000 euros per year for the next 10 years. This agreement will bring about a significant improvement in the quality of the service for the municipality and its aggregated localities, optimising collection frequency, renewing infrastructures and increasing the resources available for waste management.

This new contract will entail significant improvements such as extending the opening hours of the clean point. In addition, the bulky waste collection service will be extended to include the new localities. There will also be more frequent cleaning of the containers and specific reinforcements will be established for events and festivities.

The contract also includes the installation of new, larger capacity containers, as well as the renovation of five underground container areas. In addition, Valoriza will purchase a new lorry and a small vehicle for occasional collections, reinforcing the efficiency of the service.

The mayor of El Burgo de Osma, Antonio Pardo, pointed out that this new management is a ‘step forward in the waste collection service’, highlighting the municipality's commitment to maintaining its pioneering position in waste management and placing its trust in Valoriza to carry out this project.
