Valoriza presents the awards for its first Health and Safety Awards

This first edition exceeded all expectations of participation with more than 50 proposals received

Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales has presented the awards to the winners of its first Safety and Health Awards, which it organized as the main event of the celebration of World Day for Safety and Health at Work. This initiative stems from the company's commitment to the creation of safe workplaces.

This contest of ideas for the members of its staff, whose objective was to provide solutions to detect and prevent risks in advance, had a participation that exceeded all expectations, with more than 50 proposals from different departments and work centers.

Of all of them, the Health and Safety Management considered the following to be the most outstanding, both for their contribution to safety and for the possibility that they can be applied quickly and easily:

  • Safe working environments: LED spotlights as improved signaling of the machinery environment.

  • Communication: 'Climb up and down safely' campaign.

  • Innovation: Artificial intelligence applied to accident analysis.

The winners received their prizes from Valoriza's CEO, Javier San Millán, accompanied by the Health and Safety Director, Diana Alonso. “I would like to thank the people who participated for all their contributions, as they have shown their commitment to safety and health, both their own and that of their colleagues, contributing their experience to the objectives of our Zero Accidents campaign,” he explained.
