Alcobendas, 23 September 2025.

The connected car market is experiencing unprecedented growth: more than 70 million vehicles are already on the road in Europe with digital solutions that are transforming mobility, providing convenience, safety and efficiency. In this context, Valoriza, in collaboration with Alcobendas City Council and LetMePark/LetMeCharge, has presented the first connected urban parking service, a key step towards the digitalisation of mobility in our cities.

When it detects that the vehicle has been parked in a regulated area, the application installed in the car itself displays a warning and proposes to start the parking session. With a simple confirmation, parking is activated and, upon departure, the session is automatically terminated. The process reduces errors, prevents oversights and simplifies payment.

Carlos Rodrigo Medina, Councillor for Mobility, highlighted: ‘Our priority is to make life easier for drivers and to better organise public space. Technology at the service of citizens is the way forward.’

This project positions Alcobendas as a leader in smart mobility and offers drivers a smooth, frictionless experience, simplifying parking management.

With this launch, Valoriza reaffirms its commitment to innovation and sustainability, developing solutions that make mobility a fundamental part of building more efficient, liveable and environmentally friendly cities.
