Valoriza is the only company in the sector with the Efficient Driving certification

Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales is the only Spanish company in the street cleaning and solid urban waste collection sector to hold the Efficient Driving management systems certificate. This distinction places the company at the forefront of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

This certification corresponds to the services provided in the Madrid town of Alcalá de Henares, where Valoriza has been present since 2007. Achieved for the first time in 2018, it has continued to be renewed annually thanks to the good practices in the efficient driving of the workforce.

What the certification consists of

The AENOR EA 0050 Specification describes the requirements that must be adopted to define, implement, maintain and improve an efficient driving management system in companies with fleets of industrial vehicles. This includes road transport companies, both in the logistics and passenger transport sectors, as well as environmental companies.

In this way, it provides a reference guide to the parameters and metrics representative of efficient driving, as well as the ranges of desirable values for these parameters classified according to the context of application. It also establishes requirements for measurement and support systems for efficient driving that can be approved according to this specification.

In addition, it specifies the fundamentals of an efficient driving monitoring system to serve as a basis for driver competence assessment processes and company management.
