Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales, in partnership with Ibiza Town Council, has strengthened the street cleaning and waste collection service by introducing new machinery, optimising available resources and launching new public awareness campaigns.

This initiative forms part of the council’s strategy to modernise the service, make it more efficient and reduce its environmental impact, adapting it to the needs of a city with high levels of activity throughout the year.

Key measures include the introduction of more sustainable and versatile equipment, which improves the cleaning of streets, pavements and urban areas, as well as optimising waste collection in key areas such as the historic centre and commercial districts.

Improvements have also been made to the organisation of the service, with new collection routes and additional staff during peak periods, which helps ensure a more responsive service to the municipality’s needs.

The service also includes specialised equipment for intensive cleaning operations and reinforced rapid-response teams, enabling a more effective response to incidents on public roads.

Alongside these operational improvements, the City Council has launched new awareness campaigns, with the aim of encouraging public participation as a key factor in maintaining and improving the condition of public spaces.

With this set of measures, Ibiza is moving towards a more modern, efficient and sustainable service model, aligned with the needs of the city and its residents.
