Valoriza is awarded the management of the MSW Treatment Center of La Paloma in Valdemingómez (Madrid)

For a period of 1.5 years and with a total budget of 28.7 million euros

Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales, as part of a Temporary Joint Venture (UTE) together with Urbaser, has been awarded the contract for the management of the Urban Solid Waste (USW) Treatment Center of La Paloma, located in Valdemingómez (Madrid), for a period of one and a half years and with a budget of 28.7 million euros.

This contract renewal, since this joint venture was already the concessionaire, contemplates the possibility of being extended for one more year, which would raise the total amount of its value to 42.4 million euros.

The La Paloma Treatment Plant began operating in 2008. Waste from the packaging and residual waste fractions of the city of Madrid arrives at its facilities every day, where the organic material obtained is processed to be transformed into compost and biostabilized material.
