Valoriza bets on technology against heat with smart thermal bracelets to protect its workers Valoriza and Biodata Bank collaborate with the City Council to implement an innovative system to prevent heat stress in street cleaning Alcalá de Henares, 18 July 2025. Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales, together with Alcalá de Henares City Council, has launched an innovative pilot project in the street cleaning service with the incorporation of smart thermal bracelets developed by the technology company Biodata Bank. This technology, designed to prevent risks associated with extreme heat, is part of an advanced control system that measures heat stress in real time, allowing prevention protocols to be activated in the event of an alert. The workers who are part of the pilot project are already using these bracelets, called Canaria Plus, which constantly monitor body temperature. If abnormal levels are detected, the device triggers an alert to prevent heat stroke, reorganising shifts or promoting preventive breaks. This measure is part of Valoriza's commitment to innovation, occupational health and sustainability. The company, together with the City Council, continues to be committed to innovative solutions that improve service quality and protect the teams that make it possible.
