Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales has been awarded the new contract for street cleaning, waste collection and beach cleaning in the municipality of Los Alcázares, after its bid was rated the highest in the tender process.

The contract, which runs for 10 years and is worth over €4 million annually, represents a comprehensive overhaul of the service, aimed at improving quality, efficiency and sustainability in a municipality with high levels of activity and significant seasonal pressure.

Among the main improvements planned are the complete overhaul of the waste container system, the expansion of recycling points and the introduction of new machinery tailored to the municipality’s needs, including smaller vehicles with a lower environmental impact to facilitate operations in different urban settings.

The service also includes the gradual introduction of organic waste collection, the reinforcement of teams during the high season and improved cleaning frequencies, as well as specific attention to the beaches, a key element of the municipality’s activity.

Furthermore, the new contract incorporates digital tools for real-time monitoring and tracking of the service, which will optimise management and enhance transparency for both the administration and the public.

With this contract award, Valoriza will contribute to the development of a more efficient service model, tailored to the municipality’s current needs and aimed at improving the quality of public spaces.
