Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales welcomed a delegation from Biodata Bank, led by its CEO, Takeshi Anzai, to review the progress and results of their collaboration on a Health and Safety initiative aimed at preventing occupational risks arising from exposure to heat, developed and promoted by Valoriza's Innovation Department.

Antonio Gutiérrez, general manager of Valoriza's Urban Services, led a working session with the participation of professionals from different areas of the company. The session evaluated in detail the experience and impact of the technology implemented, focused on early detection and alerting to situations of heat stress, with the aim of anticipating incidents and strengthening preventive decision-making in the field.

Technology at the service of safety and health

The solution, based on smart bracelets, has already been rolled out to Valoriza's operational teams in Madrid, Barcelona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Alcalá de Henares, and Guadalajara. The system allows for the monitoring of indicators associated with heat stress and generates real-time alerts, facilitating the adoption of immediate measures to reduce the risk of heatstroke and protect workers' health.

This initiative, promoted by Innovation in coordination with the Health and Safety departments, is part of the Llega Seguro Project, Valoriza's corporate program that promotes the continuous improvement of a culture of prevention and shared safety within the organization, reinforcing the company's commitment to the well-being, protection, and care of its professionals.
